{"id":476,"date":"2012-09-07T12:39:12","date_gmt":"2012-09-07T10:39:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.satinfo.es\/noticies\/?p=476"},"modified":"2012-09-07T12:39:53","modified_gmt":"2012-09-07T10:39:53","slug":"publicacion-del-parche-2-para-virusscan-enterprise-8-8","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.satinfo.es\/noticies\/2012\/publicacion-del-parche-2-para-virusscan-enterprise-8-8\/","title":{"rendered":"Publicaci\u00f3n del Parche 2 para VirusScan Enterprise 8.8"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"CENTER\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">McAfee ha publicado el parche 2 para VirusScan Enterprise 8.8 que incluye las siguientes mejoras:<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong>1.<\/strong> Esta versi\u00f3n de VirusScan Enterprise soporta nuevas versiones de Lotus Notes:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Lotus Notes 7.0.x<br \/>\n&#8211; Lotus Notes 8.0.x y 8.5.x<\/p>\n<p>(Ver la gu\u00eda de instalaci\u00f3n de VirusScan Enterprise 8.8 para obtener informaci\u00f3n sobre versiones soportadas)<\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong>2.<\/strong> Procesos que escriban datos a disco muy frecuentemente y\/o escriban muchos datos en un corto per\u00edodo de tiempo pueden provocar una merma en el rendimiento del an\u00e1lisis.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>VirusScan soporta ahora el modo de operaci\u00f3n &#8216;Delayed Write Scan&#8217; que desv\u00eda el an\u00e1lisis de archivos modificados a procesos de menor prioridad. Esta opci\u00f3n est\u00e1 deshabilitada por defecto y se habilita mediante el hotfix 719680. Para mantener un correcto nivel de seguridad cuando se habilita este modo se debe verificar que la opci\u00f3n \u00abAnalizar al escribir\u00bb est\u00e9 habilitada.<\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\">\n<p>3.Se ha actualizado .la pantalla de bienvenida de VirusScan.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Problemas conocidos de esta versi\u00f3n:<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong>Problema:<\/strong><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Si en el equipo se encuentra instalado Host Intrusion Prevention 8.0 (Host IPS) con parche 1 (que funciona con los core drivers 14.4.0) se puede producir un cierre inesperado del sistema debido a un problema en el core 14.4.0. Este parche actualiza los drivers de core a la versi\u00f3n 15.0.0 pero el error puede seguir produci\u00e9ndose hasta el siguiente reinicio ya que los drivers con la versi\u00f3n anterior 14.4.0 siguen cargados en memoria.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong>Soluci\u00f3n:<\/strong><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Tras reiniciar el equipo los drivers correctos se cargan en memoria.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong>Problema: <\/strong><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">McAfee SiteAdvisor Enterprise 3.5.0 muestra el color naranja en la barra flotante (servidor GTI no disponible) para todos los sitios Web tras instalar VirusScan Enterprise 8.8.0 Parche 2.<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong>Soluci\u00f3n:<\/strong><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"> Hay disponible un HotFix para McAfee SiteAdvisor Enterprise 3.5.0 (<\/span><\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/kc.mcafee.com\/corporate\/index?page=content&amp;id=KB75858\">KB75858<\/a><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">) que resuelve dicho problema. McAfee SiteAdvisor Enterprise 3.5.0 con Parche 1 y versiones posteriores no se ver\u00e1n afectadas por este problema.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong>Problema:<\/strong><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: small;\"> Tras instalar el parche 2 se debe reiniciar el servicio MOVE-AV o bien reiniciar el equipo.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"color: #2300dc;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Entre otras cosas este parche soluciona los puntos siguientes:<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong>Problema:<\/strong><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: small;\"> Productos de otros fabricantes que inyectan DLLs en procesos pueden provocar que el servicio VsTskMgr.exe de VirusScan Enterprise registre peri\u00f3dicamente eventos 516 en el visor de sucesos.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong>Soluci\u00f3n: <\/strong><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">El servicio Task Manager de VirusScan Enterprise ya no genera masivamente el evento 516.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Problema:<\/strong><\/span> Un fallo en el modelo de filtrado del registro de Windows provoca que el driver de protecci\u00f3n de acceso de McAfee no bloquee correctamente el acceso remoto al registro.<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>Soluci\u00f3n:<\/strong><\/span> Microsoft ha identificado el problema y McAfee ha implementado una soluci\u00f3n para gestionar correctamente esta directiva.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Problema:<\/strong><\/span> El servicio McShield puede no iniciarse correctamente debido a una llamada incorrecta de un API.<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>Soluci\u00f3n:<\/strong><\/span> La llamada a dicha API se realiza ahora correctamente.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Problema: <\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Durante una tarea de An\u00e1lisis Bajo Demanda el usuario tiene la posibilidad de detener o cancelar la tarea independientemente de las directivas definidas.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>Soluci\u00f3n:<\/strong><\/span> Las tareas de An\u00e1lisis Bajo Demanda gestionadas por ePolicy Orchestrator aplican ahora correctamente las directivas de protecci\u00f3n con contrase\u00f1a para el caso en que las tareas gestionadas se muestren en la consola local.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Problema:<\/strong><\/span> VirusScan Enterprise puede provocar un error de STOP (Bugcheck 8E) si un archivo bloqueado se analiza bajo ciertas circunstancias.<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>Soluci\u00f3n:<\/strong><\/span> VirusScan Enterprise evita ahora los errores de tipo STOP al analizar archivos bloqueados.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Problema:<\/strong><\/span> El driver de an\u00e1lisis de Lotus Notes no soporta los clientes multi-proceso de Lotus Notes (versi\u00f3n 8.0 y posterior).<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>Soluci\u00f3n:<\/strong><\/span> El driver de an\u00e1lisis de Lotus Notes soporta ahora los clientes multi-proceso de Lotus Notes.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong>Problema:<\/strong><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: small;\"> En condiciones de memoria baja puede producirse un error de tipo STOP (Bugcheck 8E) debido a un fallo a la hora de asignar memoria del sistema.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong>Soluci\u00f3n:<\/strong><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: small;\"> VirusScan Enterprise ya no provoca errores de tipo STOP por problemas de asignaci\u00f3n de memoria.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong>Problema:<\/strong><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: small;\"> La protecci\u00f3n de acceso puede causar incompatibilidades con algunos instaladores de componentes de Microsoft Windows.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong>Soluci\u00f3n:<\/strong><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: small;\"> La protecci\u00f3n de acceso ha sido modificada para eliminar esta incompatibilidad.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong>NOTA: <\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Tanto en el zip de instalaci\u00f3n de la versi\u00f3n completa como dentro del archivo ZIP que contiene el parche 2 de VirusScan Enterprise 8.8 se encuentra una nueva versi\u00f3n de la extensi\u00f3n de producto <\/span><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong>VIRUSCAN8800(208).zip<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-size: small;\"> y tambi\u00e9n de informes de VirusScan <\/span><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong>VIRUSCANREPORTS120(148).zip<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-size: small;\"> para los servidores ePolicy Orchestrator 4.5 y 4.6<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p
